Annual International Conference programme
We expect to publish a provisional programme for the conference in mid-late May 2026. Please see the key dates and deadlines timeline for more information.
Conference dates and times
The Annual International Conference 2026 will start at 6.00pm on Tuesday 1 September 2026, and will end at 6.30pm on Friday 4 September 2026.
A conference opening plenary event and drinks reception will be held on the evening of Tuesday 1 September 2026 (about 6.00pm). All registered delegates are welcome to join.
Delegate registration (collection of name badges) will be open from noon on Tuesday at the Exhibition Road entrance to the Society.
Structure of the conference day
Sessions and papers may be scheduled in any of the timeslots between 9.00am on Wednesday 2 September and 6.30pm on Friday 4 September.
Session start and end times are as follows:
- Session one: 9.00am-10.40am
- Refreshment break: 10.40am-11.10am
- Session two: 11.10am-12.50pm
- Plenary/lunch: 1.10pm-2.10pm
- Session three: 2.25pm-4.05pm
- Refreshment break: 4.05pm-4.35pm
- Session four: 4.35pm-6.15pm
- Evening: usually 6.30pm onwards (please see individual listings for details)
